Current Obstacles

In the past weeks multiple obstacles have come to light prohibiting project progress for a decent amount of time. Firstly, PCB design has been halted due to the necessity to complete the manufacturing of at least one PSC, since the negative electrical contact points are not clear on the substrate. Additionally, PSC manufacturing has been postponed due to the necessity to confirm safety guidelines given the presence of lead in the PSC precursor solution.
Above all, though, the active government shutdown has been the most impactful due to its impact on NASA facilities. Dr. McMillon-Brown will be unreachable for the duration of the shutdown, not only stopping all official planning but also stopping the beginning of PSC manufacturing due to the necessity to receive safety conformation from her or her group.
The current plan is to contact Solaronix for details on safety and electrical contact point location, at least allowing for PCB design to continue through the government shutdown.
