After thorough research, a general experimentation plan has been completed including specific numbers relating to testing conditions found from the attached pdf. A shortened version of the plan is as follows:

  • Place test cells in a vacuum of 10-10 Torr (or higher depending on equipment available)

  • Complete thermal cycling from -65℃ to 125℃ over 90 minute cycles to simulate orbital temperatures

  • Expose cells to UV energy of ~118 W/m2 during hot phase of cycle to simulate UV radiation from the sun

  • Between each cycle test PSCs for power conversion efficiency (PCE) using an AM0 solar simulator

  • Repeat for ~50 cycles to provide accurate degradation pictures

These procedures will be reviewed to help determine necessary testing equipment for project completion.
